Combined Double Dosing 8 Lane Sachet Machine

BoatoPack has delivered to an international pharmaceutical customer their Tornado 600 (vffs) 8 lane machine producing sachets requiring 2 separate components to be accurately dosed, simultaneously.

In this instance the 2 components are sugar and a pharma powder. The sugar is dosed from its own hopper using a GPV rotary shaft doser, then combines with the pharma powder dosed via an 8 head All-Fill auger, filling 18gr of the 2 components into single sachets.

Although the machine can be run faster for other products, in this case output is 40- 50 cycles/min (320-400 sachets/min) running a sachet size of 75mm x 105mm.

Normally, seen in horizontal machines this development opens up many opportunities for those requiring high speed vertical machines.
