It might not look much today but one day this stick will be a tree!

After the local council cut down a lovely tree right outside the Springvale window we decided to go into battle to get a new one in it's place and were told it would be replaced with a a large plastic tub that would be planted with flowers. The existing plastic tubs on the High Street are used for garbage and cigarette butts so we stood our ground (excuse the pun) and when we returned after our Christmas break our new tree had been planted!

A small success in the current world turmoil but each tree counts!
